About the film
This contemporary film noir is crafted by
cult Hong Kong filmmaker Alfred Cheung, and features a unique
blend of action, drama and romance, set against the back-drop
of modern New York. The film was shot with the revolutionary
HDW-F900 camera. 'Manhattan Midnight' marks the first time this
high definition digital technology has been used since George
Lucas employed the HDW-F900 to lens his second 'Star Wars' prequel.
Multi-faceted Hollywood leading man Richard Grieco is paired
with rising star Maggie Quigley in this quality romantic thriller.

Synopsis
M (Richard Grieco) is a former Navy SEAL
who now makes a living as an assassin-for-hire. A bizarre twist
of fate sees him trapped in a stalled elevator with Susan (Maggie
Quigley), his latest target. Afflicted with claustrophobia,
M experiences a panic attack, and is calmed by the gentle Susan.
Something about her strikes a chord in the cold heart of this
killer, but, ever the soldier, he finally obeys orders, and
executes his contract. As he makes his way through the streets
of Manhattan, M is stunned to see Susan, apparently alive and
well. This strange encounter sets in motion a dark love story
with a bittersweet twist ending... |
